Training
If you want to become a Nail Technician you will have to complete a training program at a beauty school and take an exam to obtain your Nail Technician license. The education and license that allow you to become a Nail Technician are frequently the same as those required for a manicurist or pedicurist.

Manicures, pedicures and other nail treatments are constantly between the most popular cosmetology treatments. There will always be a demand for capable nail technicians than for any other beauty career. Nail Technicians may be employed within nail, beauty and/or hairdressing salons, or work in small nail bars in stores or in shopping centers or related areas. A lot of nail technicians also establish their own business, one of its main tasks is performing business record keeping and clean and sanitize their tools and work zone.

The salary for nail technicians ranges between $15,000 and $40,000. The highest potential for the careers in the industry is for the technicians who get into the Nail Art business or open their own nail store. The Nail Technicians who have special skills in elaborate nail work or art can get better salaries than the often paid by the custom-designed employment.
