Breithaupt Career & Technical Center
The Breithaupt Academy of Cosmetology trains students in the science and art of beauty culture. Our program is approved by the State Board of Cosmetology, and requires 1500 hours of classroom / practical instruction. This requirement mandates that the students must have good attendance, passing grades in academic subject, and the stamina to withstand a demanding three year program. All applicants must be tested and interviewed before admittance.
Upon successful completion of the program, the student will qualify to take the Michigan Cosmetology State Board Exam. After successfully passing this exam, the students will receive a Cosmetologist license.
