Students enrolling in any of the courses at Paris Beauty College must be at least 16 years of age. If you do not have a high school diploma, a G.E.D., or equivalent, you will be required to pass an "ability to benefit " exam before enrolling. All students, regardless of education, will pass an entrance exam before beginning school

Before entering any new career you must prepare yourself for the possible physical and mental demands it may require. Some of these courses may require one to stand or sit for long periods of time. Sturdy shoes and good posture are important in keeping you back strong and efficient. If you have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome you may need to consider the fact that these courses may require you to do a lot of work with your hands. If you have certain learning disabilities, you may find the studies more challenging. Persons with learning and physical limitations are encouraged to visit a school or salon and observe the demands that will be placed on you.
